For the 20th time, the Philippine LEGO Users Group gathered for BRICKFast. It had the usual buzz of the early morning meet up, difference is that it started out sluggish due to changes in the already scarce parking conditions — this time, Jollibee Greenmeadows guard says is because of President Aquino’s presence in the area.
Things picked up pace around 9:00 am when the display area got filled in by original builds of the Garage group of “Mariano” Karts. When asked what is it all about…”it is original carts/downscaled cars that bear the name of the person who suggested it — Louise and Gabriel Mariano” –all awesome nontheless. In the middle of the racetrack action is the ” Up” build of Mark Gotidoc vying for a spot on LEGO Ideas.
Other side of the display area are detailed builds by the Mech Group as well as creations by the lady builder group, team PMS.
BRICKFast happens in 60 day cycles, expect the next one happeng again on April. But no formal announcement has been made yet.
